Parent-Child Playgroup

A nurturing, bonding environment encouraging growth for both parent and child.

About the Sweet Pea Parent-Child Program

Children from infancy to 4 years of age, along with a parent or caregiver, participate in a Parent-Child Playgroup. The program consists of a 2-hour class, 1 day a week, for a Fall or Spring semester. Parents, infants, and toddlers come together in a home-like environment to play, sing, listen, and learn. A wholesome snack, prepared by the teacher, is shared. Parents/caregivers work on a purposeful project while conversations focus on support of the parenting journey. The children play inside and out and all enjoy a puppet play.

Led by experienced Waldorf teachers, our playgroups offer parents and caregivers support in child development and education while preparing children for Preschool.
