Live Oak’s Waldorf Preschool offers a peaceful, uncluttered environment filled with simple natural materials that invite imaginative play, independence, and social growth. Through a steady daily rhythm, children learn by doing—moving between meaningful activity, creative exploration, and warm connection with their teachers and classmates.
Outdoor nature play is an integral part of each day, including regular exploratory hikes beyond the play yard. Within this nurturing setting, children engage in circle time, artistic explorations, indoor and outdoor creative play, snack, storytime, and lunch—building confidence and readiness for Kindergarten in a way that honors early childhood development.

The Preschool Experience
Play is the work of the young child. Brightly colored playcloths, moveable play stands, dolls, and wooden blocks create many happy hours of engaged and imaginative learning. Through creative play, social skills are developed, physics is explored, and self-confidence grows.
Outdoor Nature Play
Outdoor nature play is an integral part of the day. Regular exploratory hikes beyond the play yard are essential for the child. The daily rhythm of activities includes circle time, artistic explorations, indoor and outdoor creative play, snack time, storytime, and lunch.
Guided by Experienced Teachers
Led by experienced Waldorf teachers, our Preschool Program offers parents support in child development and education while preparing children for Kindergarten.

What happens after we submit an inquiry?
After you submit an inquiry, we will invite you (via email) to create a user account with Ravenna to apply through the Parent Portal.
