Common questions from families new to Live Oak:
How do Live Oak students do after they leave? Really well, and we're proud of that. Our graduates go on to thrive in high school, college, and beyond. More than that, they leave knowing who they are. They're curious, confident, and adaptable — the kind of people who figure things out. That's always been the goal.
How does financial aid work? We believe a Live Oak education should be possible for any family who wants it and our tuition is lower than most other Waldorf schools, but our programs are not limited. We offer need-based financial aid through SSS and our Children's Fund, and we're always happy to have an honest conversation about what might work for your family. Cost should never be the reason you don't explore this further.
What does a typical day at Live Oak actually look like? In short: children here learn with their hands, their hearts, and their minds. Days are rich, unhurried, and deeply connected to the natural world around them, their peers and their teachers. There's a rhythm that is unique to each class and developmentally appropriate for each age and stage of learning.
