Kira Adams

Kira is a Northern California native who feels fortunate to be raising her two sons with her husband in this beautiful region. She holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Chico State University and began her professional journey in commercial and investment banking.

Kira’s path shifted after becoming a mother, when she developed a deep interest in child development and education. That journey led her to Live Oak Waldorf School, where she was drawn to the intentional, developmentally grounded approach that Waldorf education offers. Since her family joined the school in 2017, Kira has been an active member of the community—first as a parent and volunteer, and now in an official capacity supporting the school’s fundraising and marketing efforts.

In her role, Kira is dedicated to strengthening the future of Live Oak by building a culture of philanthropy and engagement. She helps lead fundraising initiatives, events, and outreach that not only support the school’s day-to-day operations but also ensure its long-term sustainability. With a deep appreciation for the values of Waldorf education, she is honored to contribute to its legacy and continued growth.

Outside of her work, Kira enjoys travel, outdoor adventures, family time, and chocolate!
