Michelle Varela

Michelle and her family joined the Live Oak community in the Spring of 2022 in the Sweet Peas class. Her daughter then began preschool in the Poppy class and Michelle volunteered for the parent council. Now both of her young children are in the ECV this year. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree from WJU in 2013. She has worked with children of all ages at summer camps and at nonprofit organizations. She is passionate about Waldorf education and is starting teacher training at the Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training this year. She loves spending time in nature and baking in her free time. She is honored and grateful to be the Dandelion Assistant  alongside Ms. Stephanie. 

Michelle joined Live Oak Waldorf School in 2024.
