Preschool

Children between the ages of 2 years, 9 months to 4 years at the beginning of the school year (Sept. 1st) may enter the Preschool Program. We offer a 2-day, 3-day, or 5-day program, 8:15 AM - 12:45 PM.

After-school care is also available.

Play is the work of the young child.  Brightly colored playcloths, moveable play stands, dolls, and wooden blocks create many happy hours of engaged and imaginative learning.  Through creative play, social skills are developed, physics is explored, and self-confidence grows. 

Outdoor nature play is an integral part of the day. Regular exploratory hikes beyond the play yard are essential for the child. The daily rhythm of activities includes circle time, artistic explorations, indoor and outdoor creative play, snack time, storytime, and lunch.

Led by experienced Waldorf teachers, our Preschool Program offers parents support in child development and education while preparing children for Kindergarten.
