Experience Middle School at Live Oak Waldorf School! 

In middle school, learning stretches far beyond the classroom walls, guiding students as they grow into themselves. These are the years of discovering voice and identity—of trying, creating, and stepping forward with courage. Through class plays, writing, debate, fieldwork, and collaborative projects, students gain confidence and begin to understand who they are in the world.

This isn’t just an info session—it’s a chance for your child to step into middle school life.

While parents explore our Middle School Showcase—meeting our upper grades teachers, reviewing the curriculum, seeing hands-on science experiments, math in motion, and learning about our focus on digital citizenship with Cyber Civics—students (grades 5 and up) will be welcomed into a special subject class led by our games/woodworking/sculpture teacher and Live Oak alum. They’ll roll up their sleeves, work with real tools and materials, and get a true feel for what it’s like to be a Live Oak middle schooler.
